Apply to be a KMA Volunteer Class Assistant
Once you experience or observe KMA's impact on a community, you may wish to participate at a deeper level and be a part of KMA's programming by serving as a volunteer. Being a volunteer can be rewarding in many ways - starting with the fulfillment of helping others to achieve their goals. As a volunteer, you can also learn valuable skills on how to be a teacher of the movement arts.
Keoni Movement Arts is now recruiting volunteer class assistants for our 2019 - 2020 program year, which will start this September and end with a performance (date TBD) next spring. Deadline to start the process is Friday, August 9, 2019 and the first step is that you come and view our Special Needs Teen & Adult Yo-Dan-Nastics class by then. You may come and observe the class on one of the following dates this summer: Friday, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, or 8/9 from 5:15-6:45pm at our studio location in Midtown Manhattan — Clinton Cameo Studios, 307 W 43rd St (@ 8th Ave.) NYC.
Those with a high aptitude for teaching and a deep desire to learn to be a teacher of movement arts may also be invited to KMA’s teacher training program. If you are interested in becoming a KMA Volunteer Class Assistant, review the job description below and complete the Application Process.
